Ethel's Story...
Meet Ethel!

Ethel was saved by Hope for Paws...they were alerted to a situation about 3 dogs that were living on the streets after their owner had passed away and they were left to fend for themselves. Thankfully, they were able to save them and asked us to take them in. Thanks to the best vet care and a loving foster home, Ethel is blossoming. When we first got her - she refused to walk on leash - she was petrified. Every day she is gaining confidence and learning to be a dog. Ethel is very affectionate and loves cuddling by your side and going for walks. She is reactive when she first meets and new dog, but we are working on that and making improvements every day. Ethel will do well in a quiet home as an only dog or with another mellow friend. She is house trained and quiet (though she does bark when some one is at the door). She is really a great dog and deserves a loving forever home.

A home check, application and adoption fee is required to adopt Ethel.

Thank you for choosing to adopt and saving a life. Please contact shalee@thearkanimalreascue.org for an application or visit our website at www.thearkanimalrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ethel, a Mission Viejo Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Mission Viejo, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Mission Viejo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission Viejo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission Viejo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission Viejo paves the way for another one to be saved.
