Pixie's Story...
Pixie is just the most darling girl. Pitty face with a dachshund body and a smile that will melt your heart! She's a tiny thing, about 25lbs. She's a little over a year old.

Pixie gave birth to 5 beautiful pups in her foster home. She been a great mama, but she's looking forward to life after motherhood.

Pixie is super friendly! She loves other dogs, gets along great with cats, and even pays no attention to the chickens. She's also great with kids!

Pixie is learning a lot in her foster home. She is working on potty training (and really catching on). Her adoption fee covers her spay, microchip, deworming, and vaccinations.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pixie, a Concord Dachshund/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Concord, or seeking a Dachshund/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Concord.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Concord already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Concord breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Dachshund/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Concord paves the way for another one to be saved.
