DINAH's Story...
Say hello to the darling 7 month old Dinah! Isn't she just the cutest little 29 pound girl? She is as sweet as she is cute and is eager to please so she will be a very fast learner. She already knows to sit when told and walks nicely on a leash so she had a loving home at some point. She came to the shelter as a stray on 09/22 and the family did not find her so she is hoping you can pick her to be your new family member. She is current on vaccines, spayed, tested negative for heart worms and will be micro-chipped when adopted. You will find Dinah waiting in cage 331 in the small dog room and her ID# is 589117.
When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

DINAH, a Marietta Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
