Miss Howard's Story...
Miss Howard is a total love bug and lap-kitty! She is seriously sweet and loving. She wants affection and to be held and cuddled. She was found as a 2 week old kitten and was bottle fed so he is very people oriented.

Miss Howard is a favorite of her foster mom. She has won her heart in every way, but she needs hers own home where she can get the attention, time and love she deserves.

Miss Howard has a foster sibling named Phyllis. She was found at about the same age and time. So they have grown up together, both bottle fed by the same foster. They are quite bonded so our hope is that they get adopted together. They are such cute playmates and snuggle buddies too. She is just as sweet and loving.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Miss Howard, a Houston Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
