Sammy is an orange tabby boy who was raised by his foster mom as a bottle baby. He is sweet, loving, loves to give kisses. He enjoys laptime, playtime, food time – he just enjoys LIFE! Sammy is very energetic and would love to be adopted with his foster brother, Ollie, but at the very least must have a sweet, very playful feline friend in his forever home. He needs the outlet of play to burn some of that energy. On the flip side, Sammy loves to sit on the couch with you or cuddle in bed. He thinks his rightful place is in your lap and spends a lot of his time sitting with his foster mom. He lives with dogs, large and small, other kittens and adult cats. You just have to spend a little time with this boy to realize how very sweet he is!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sammy, a Keller Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Keller, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Keller.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Keller already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Keller breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Keller paves the way for another one to be saved.
