Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sisu, affectionately called “little peanut”, is such a wonderful pup. She is completely adorable and pretty much the best cuddler ever. Even though she is a cuddle champion, she is still a fun pup with the perfect amount of spunk. Sisu loves to chase the ball and grab a few stuffed toys and chase around. Adorable to watch. She loves her people and she also loves her one year old dog foster sister. They play tug of war and other fun pup games. There are older foster dogs in her home too and she is very respectful around them.
Sisu is still working on potty training since she is only 6.5 months old and 13 lbs. She uses pee pads though and does a fabulous job with those. She is a smart pup so no doubt she will pick up potty training and learn fun tricks if her forever family would want to teach her.
Honestly, she is awesome. Sisu would love to find a kind, loving forever family who wants to have fun and be happy because that is what she is. She will bring the hugest smile to your face every day. I mean look at those ears!
Since we don't know at all what doggy genes are in the dogs make up (we don't know who mom and dad are!), we are just guessing on breed and size when grown.
All dogs are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. They have all had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer, are treated for fleas, have a heartworm test if over 6 months old and are up to date on a heartworm preventative.
Please note that because we require a home visit at the time of adoption we can only place animals in homes within a 60 mile radius of Minneapolis. If you are interested in meeting this dog please fill out the pre-adoption application on our website at http://www.safehandsrescue.org under Adopt and we will get back to you to arrange a meeting in the foster home.
We also have an Adoptable Dog Meet & Greet on Saturday October 29, 2016, at Fetch Delivers Warehouse, 783 Harding St. NE. Suite 150, Minneapolis, MN 55413, from noon - 2 pm. Occasionally dogs cannot make it to the Meet & Greet, therefore feel free to verify if your dog of interest is able to attend. Please bring a copy of your pre-adoption application.
