Chief's Story...
Welcome Chief. This is a 2 year old GSD/ Rhodesian Ridgeback mix. He weighs about 85 pounds and this is a big majestic boy. He is smart, (knows sit and shake) attentive and motivated with treats. He is currently in a Vet Office in boarding and the vet techs love him. He is learning leash manners but still pulls when something interesting is spotted. His preferred home would have no children under 12, and he could be an only doggy or he'd like the company of another large dog. He is potty trained and hold it in his crate. He was in a very small town pound when they called for the community to step up. He wasn't getting seen so his chances of adoption were nill. The Animal Control officers and other staff love this fantastic boy so Dr. Patin and his team stepped up. We are now marketing him for adoption on the East or West Coast. We would like a person experienced with GSDs or a large breed as his new owner. He is active and fun and will make an outdoorsy family a great companion. . This is a boy who needs room to run, so a large, securely fenced yard would be best. He is in Texas but we will be using a transporter to deliver him to his new home outside of Texas. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chief, a Lacey German Shepherd Dog/Rhodesian Ridgeback dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Rhodesian Ridgeback for sale in Lacey, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Rhodesian Ridgeback dog from a breeder in Lacey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lacey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lacey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Rhodesian Ridgeback breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Rhodesian Ridgeback rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lacey paves the way for another one to be saved.
