Baby's Story...
Meet Baby. She is 4 year old Weimaraner/lab mix. Her name suits her perfectly, because for the last four years she has been someone's baby, his everything and him hers. They did everything together, played in the yard, ran errands. A few months ago, Baby's dad passed away. Everything she loved and knew is gone and we are here to make things better for her in his honor. She is currently safe with family members, but they know what baby really needs is the attention her dad used to give her. Baby is good with other dogs and children but we think she would be best with older children because she startles easily around little ones since she isn't as familiar with them.

She is spayed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Baby is up to date on heartworm prevention and all vaccines. Her adoption fee is $450 and includes all her vetting and transport from Memphis to you. Please email us at wilsonanimalrescue@yahoo.com for an application or more information on adopting Baby.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baby, a Brattleboro Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
