Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Atlas!
Atlas is a happy-go-lucky, loving, active dog who's ready to find his forever home after being in the shelter far too long. He would love to show someone what a great dog he is!
He loves running alongside while his foster dad rollerblades, or running in the yard with his foster sister, or running around the house with his toys. Running. Atlas loves running! Or walking, or jogging, or any combination. He'd love to find a home that would do one or all of those things with him.
After he's worked off his energy, Atlas is content to curl up on the couch with you, or in his crate, or sit by a window and stare outside for hours.
He is super eager to please and is a very smart boy. He would love to go to training class to help him learn how to express his zest for life appropriately. He is house-trained, enjoys his crate, knows basic commands, and is working really hard on loose-leash walking and focusing on his human when there are distractions (squirrel!) around.
Atlas loves everyone he meets; adults, children, and other dogs. All he wants is to love and be loved. Well, and cookies. He also wants cookies.
Mr. Bean’s adoption fee is $99 and he is being fostered in southeastern Wisconsin. An approved application MUST be on file before proceeding with a meet-and-greet. The online application can be found at http://www.caninecupids.org/adopt-.html.

Our Thoughts on Visual Breed Identification
Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable. For most of our adoptable Cupids we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We think it’s most important is to get to know each dog as an individual! We then do our best to describe each of our adoptable Cupids based on their personalities in order to determine whether they’ll make good companions based on prospective adopters’ lifestyles. Dog behavior is not exclusive to breed — it’s a complex mix of nature and nurture.
