Facts about Peanut

  • Breed: Miniature Mix
  • Color: Bay
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Small
  • Sex: Male
Late September 2016, Redemption Road Rescue was part of a 30+ rescue of miniature horses and ponies. As part of our goal to assist miniatures in need we reached out to RRR and offered our help. We traveled to Jackson and brought back five mares and one recently gelded stallion. They are up to date on their shots and coggins and looking for a safe place to call home.
Peanut is very small and super friendly. He is just a doll and very interested in people. Very trusting and ready for his new home.
Peanut was one of several small stallions running with the mares rescued. He is around 3 years old and has been gelded. He is very sweet and leads well. He is a dark brown or seal bay color and cute as a button.

About East Tennessee Miniature Horse and Donkey Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a 501c3 rescue that is dedicated to helping miniature horses, donkeys and mules to help prevent them from going to auction. Our goal is to help people understand how to care for minis and know that we are here to help. Donations are used to feed, shelter, provide medical care, transport, farrier costs and site visits. We do not receive any grants so we rely on your help. Together we can do big things for these little equines.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Located on a small farm in Loudon TN, we request you call a head in order to set a meet and greet time with our minis. We want you to come and see what this little equines are all about and help spread the word about miniatures in need. We do go to local events through out the year and you can keep up with us by checking our website and looking at our event page.

Our Adoption Process...

Adoptions require references, a veterinary contact that will be caring for your new mini, and a site visit. You must be 18 years or older and must be adoption for yourself or immediate family. On our site visits we are looking for safe fencing, a simple shelter, and access to fresh water and limited pasture. Our adoption fee is 200 with a discount for multiple animals adopted and those with special needs.
