Lily (Spayed/Comb'd)-Update's Story...
"Lily" is a lovely 1-1/2 year old female kitty who was surrendered by her owner on July 2, 2016 along with Gizmo and Jingles who shared her previous home. Both of her companions have found new homes, but "Lily" is still waiting for her forever family to take her home with them. This little sweetie has a light brown tabby short smooth coat in a spotted tabby pattern, a long ringed tail, and a beautiful face with a chocolate brown nose, a long white whiskers, and a dusting of white of her muzzle/chin. "Lily" has a fun-loving personality and dearly loves attention. She has a rather 'flirtatious' side to her personality (meant in the most complimentary way of course!). "Ivy" has become a favorite during our weekly volunteer orientations and is often pictured in the arms of new volunteers or in videos which show her playful affectionate personality. "Lily" has always been an indoor kitty. She is good with children, dogs, and other cats. "Lily" was given vaccinations, wormer, and Revolution topical medication on July 2, 2016. She was spayed on July 13, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine. "Lily" weighs approximately 8 lbs. She was combo tested on July 23, 2016 and is negative for feline leukemia, FIV, and heartworm. These updated photos were taken on September 29, 2016 and, true to her reputation, "Lily" was her charming self as she explored our 'studio' and enjoyed her 15-minutes of fame <3

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily (Spayed/Comb'd)-Update, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
