Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rita is a 3 year old pit/Dalmatian/cattle dog who URGENTLY needs a committed long term foster home, forever home, or rescue with space for her ASAP. This unique beauty has been let down by her irresponsible owners her whole life: being bred over and over again and then surrendered to a crowded animal control facility when they moved and couldn't take her. Then her owners supposedly found a place to live and wanted her back so we had her spayed to prevent future litters and brought her back to the pound for them to pick up...where she waited and waited and waited for weeks as they made one excuse after another why they were taking her in just a few more days until they stopped responding to all communication, abandoning her yet again and for the last time. She's a little timid at first but bonds quickly and is very sweet, crate-trained, and good in the car. She is ok with some other non-dominant dogs, preferably males to live with. This is Rita's last chance to find a stable responsible home! Please email njwoof@cs.com if you are interested.

We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East next to 5 Star Car Wash (formerly Boulder Car Wash) in Morris Plains (Denville on GPS).
