CTPR recently brought Max into our rescue from Rhode Island Parrot Rescue. Max is a gorgeous Blue and Gold Macaw, approximately 23 years old. Very friendly. Likes out of cage time and enjoys TV. Likes to play tug of war! Max eats a healthy pelleted diet supplemented with vegetables and fruit. Macaws live for 60+ years and are native to the norther half of South America. Max's adoption fee is $500 and he will be adopted with his cage, food and related supplies.
