My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jump into your car and drive down to Friendship and adopt Julie. She's a 1.5 year old Shepherd mix that was adopted a few months ago and recently returned. Julie was returned because she was not completely housed trained and when her owner would take her for walks, she would be aggressive with other dogs. Julie likes to chew so a good durable toy should be with her. She was crated a lot. When the owners were at work they would crate her and if they couldn't watch her they would crate her. Julie is a young dog and probably needed lots more exercise. She lived with children ages 7 and 5 and was very sweet with them. She loves attention and likes to watch TV with her family on the couch. This nice girl has a lot of energy and needs daily exercise. When exercised she was much better in the home than when left in a crate. Julie would love a family that would include her in their activities.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
