Here's what the humans have to say about me:
3-4 year old Mozart is a very special dog. He is exceptionally sweet and loving, definitely qualifies as eye candy, but does have a significant loss of vision. If you're familiar with blind dogs, you already know that they adjust to this condition very easily, and really need almost no special care once familiar with their surroundings. Unlike humans, dogs really lock into their other senses when they lose sight - - and we've had some here that visitors had no clue were sightless until we told them they were. Our point - - - - ???? Mozart is special, he will need a special home where furniture doesn't move every day, his food bowl is always in the same place, and his water is where he remembers it was the last time. Oh - and the other special thing he needs is love and attention. Mozart is already crate trained, and will go to his new home fully vaccinated against distemper, parvo, rabies, heartworm tested (negative), and neutered. If you would like to offer our Mozart a forever home, please submit an application which you can find on our website www.almostheaven-golden-retriever-rescue.org
