This is Ziggy Feldman, Ziggy was hit by a car in Tijuana and than thrown into the trash. His rescuers in TJ found him and too, him to the vet where they were able to save his leg with the help of a good surgeon he is however blind and needs an experience owner to give him hope and faith again in humans. Ziggy does fine around most friendly dogs that respect his space and even wants to become friends, he gets around pretty good for a blind boy and gets to know the lay of the land quickly. Please consider opening your heart and home to a dog with special needs, after they are around for awhile you won't see them as being any different from any other pup, they just want love and companionship and a little security.

About Hank's Hostel Fur Hounds

About Our Rescue Group...

I chose to do senior and special needs rescue because these types of dogs are often left behind and seldom get adopted from shelters, we also offer a forever foster program for some of Hank's Hounds where we supply the food and vetting for the rest of the senior's life as long as it is with our approved rescue vet.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fee depends on the dog you are adopting, since we are a senior and special needs rescue sometimes fees go's towards future vetting and such. There is an application to adopt and if that looks good we will schedule a meet and greet with the dog you are interested in, if this go's well we will do a home check upon which if both parties agree to the adoption and terms of an adoption contract will be required. We do require personal references as well as one from your Vet.
