Patrice's Story...
My name is Patrice and I’m a 6 yr old handsome long hair male cat. My owner was dying and wanted to make sure that I was safe. I was place with a volunteer with Somerville-Cambridge Elder Services and Kitty Connection is helping me to find a forever home. I am a lap cat and love to be with you so I would make a great companion. I lived with my owner in a small quiet senior building so I would do best in a quiet home with adults that want a great loving companion cat. They need to understand how hard this has been for me and give me time to settle in to a new home. I did it with my foster family and will do it with you too. I have never been with another cat so best as an only.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patrice, a Medford Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Medford, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Medford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medford paves the way for another one to be saved.
