My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

2-3 year old Kurtis is one of the happiest, most well adjusted, loving dogs we have ever had the pleasure of sharing our lives with here. He always has a smile, a wagging tail, and a happy go lucky attitude - - - - in spite of having suffered an injury at some time earlier in his life that injured his back and which causes his hind leg to drag a little. Docs say it's permanent damage now - - - doesn't cause him pain, may develop arthritis later in life. It does NOT impair him in any way - - - - - but he is oh so special. Kurtis would love to have a new home - we think with as few steps as possible - and with older children or adults. This dog is really wonderful - - - so if you would like to be considered as his new family, please submit an application which you can find on our website (www.almostheaven-golden-retriever-rescue.org) His fee may be somewhat negotiable to the right family!
