Waldo's Story...
Look at that smile! Waldo is clearly a happy boy with a bouncy attitude. He is about 2 1/2 years old and needs a bit of work on his basic manners, but it shouldn't take long for him to pick up on them. Waldo came in as a stray, so we don't know anything about his history, although we have a feeling that he would do well with other dogs and cats. Although, we do request a meet and greet before he leaves. Come check this pawsome boy out, today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Waldo, a Martinsville Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Coonhound for sale in Martinsville, or seeking a Coonhound dog from a breeder in Martinsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Martinsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Martinsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Coonhound breeders who help with Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Martinsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
