My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

April is a darling 10 month old puppy! She was rescued from the Fort McDowell Indian Reservation where she wasn't treated very nicely by people, so it took her some time to learn how to trust people, but she now LOVES her foster mom and dad. She is looking for a kind family who is willing to spend some time helping her learn the joys of belly rubs, ear scratches, and being part of a family. We've rescued a lot of dogs like April, and they always become wonderful family dogs when given love and patience. She is currently about 40 pounds and will probably be around 55-60 pounds when full grown. April absolutely loves other dogs, and being shy, it is a a good idea for her to have another friendly, playful dog in the house as a positive role model! She also needs a yard, as she's not the type of dog to do well in an apartment. April is a good puppy and is going to be a great dog!

She was housebroken and crate-trained in just two days and she is already spayed, micro-chipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $250.00. For the chance to meet April, please complete an application at happytailsaz.org.
