Cassidy is a 2-3 year old BIG (for her-- she's about 25 pounds) Shih Tzu mixed with who knows what, a lower shed, larger dog who radiates sunshine and good cheer. Don't confuse her for a little lap-sitter, not Cassidy! She is all about playing, toys, walks, having fun, and being active. She is a Lab in a Shih Tzu body! She would do best with a fenced in yard to help burn off some of her energy. She adores other dogs and her ideal home would have a playful canine in it. She is a bit overly rowdy for smaller sized dogs but she holds her own with the big dogs in her foster home quite well. She is excellent with cats though will try to play with them. She is good with kids but she might be a bit much for the little ones with her puppy mouthing so probably best with older kids. Cassidy is house trained and crate trained and seeing her leash come out for a walk just thrills her. Once she is tired out, she is happy to snuggle up and be a cuddle buddy but she's got energy to burn first! The only thing she likes more are her toys--- adoption requirement is a LOT of toys for her to play with, and bones. For someone who likes the look of a Shih Tzu but in a bigger size with a bigger dog personality, she's your girl. She is not no shed, she's low shed.
