My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mindy! She's a cute 4 year old Boxer/Lab mix. She's a 65 pound love bug. Mindy is a rescue from the Lorain County Kennel so her history is unknown. Mindy enjoys people and going out in the fenced in area to play. She's a big happy girl with lots of energy. Upon her arrival Mindy was selected to participate in Friendship's Prison Dog Program. She has spent the last several months being trained in obedience, basic commands, manners, house training, and proper leash walking. Mindy will be back at Friendship and available for adoption this FRIDAY, OCTOBER 07, 2016. Mindy will be a proud Prison Graduate.

If you are interested in adopting this dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. Stop by Friendship and fill one out ASAP or call the shelter at
440-322-4321, if you live a distance away call to see if the staff will accept a fax. Please do NOT email the app to the adoption emails. It will not be accepted. Applications can be found at friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-Dogs and Puppies.

All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
