Ginger (Spayed)'s Story...
"Ginger" is a cute 7-month old female kitty who arrived at the HSOV on October 3, 2016. This adorable young lady has an orange tabby medium smooth coat with white highlights on her chest and paws, a fluffy long ringed tail, and a darling face with a pink nose, bronze-colored eyes, and extra-long white whiskers. "Ginger" has a delightful personality and is full of love and playfulness. This little girl wants attention so badly and someone to love her. She pushes her paws through the bars of her cage and talks to everyone who walks by in hope of some attention. "Ginger" was a joy to photograph :) She purred constantly and was a real social butterfly as she pranced around and begged for loving. "Ginger" is a petite little beauty who weighs just 4.6 lbs. She was given vaccinations and wormer on October 3 2016. "Ginger" will be spayed (at no charge for her new family) before she is adopted. UPDATE: "Ginger" was spayed on October 12, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 4.9 lbs. on that date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger (Spayed), a Marietta Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
