Andy's Story...
My name is Andy…I wandered into my current foster family’s yard tired & hungry. No one claimed me, so now I'm with DRDR and they are helping me find my forever home. I'm about 2 or 3 yrs old and have been told I look like a Puggle (Pug/Beagle mix), but you decide. I weigh 38 pounds, very friendly and love to be outdoors, so a fenced yard would be perfect for me. However, I love being with my people so if you have the time, I’ll work real hard on inside potty training. I'm a quick learner and want to please my new family. I get along well with others and am fostered with my buddy Whitey, who by the way, is also a DRDR rescue, and my foster parents two big dogs. I have been around cats, but still learning that I can live and share. I walk well on the leash and just love to hangout and be with my human friends. If you would like to adopt me, please complete an application and mention my name!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Andy, a Gillsville Beagle/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Pug for sale in Gillsville, or seeking a Beagle/Pug dog from a breeder in Gillsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gillsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gillsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Pug breeders who help with Beagle/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gillsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
