Polo's Story...
Polo is a 2 year old spayed pittie mix who is as sweet as they come! She was brought to us as a stray and has really come out of her shell! Polo just loves to be around people - she is so loving! Polo is a medium sized lady and has very polite manners! So far, Polo has shown that she does have some challenges with other dogs and would most likely prefer to be the only dog in the home or have the resident dog be a relaxed male. Polo enjoys heading to our dog park and running around. She listens wonderfully and stays close. If you have a tennis ball - she is the happiest girl ever! Polo will be a great companion as she loves to have fun and be playful, but she is also sure to be a great couch potato! Such a loving lady she is! Polo's cannot wait to become a forever dog - she's truly an awesome girl!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Polo, a Michigan City Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Michigan City, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Michigan City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Michigan City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Michigan City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Michigan City paves the way for another one to be saved.
