Here is more about Isra in her own words:
"Hi!!! My name is Isra, and I am a real sweet girl. I am a Short-hair Border Collie and Boston Terrier mix who was rescued just in nick of time from a very high kill shelter in Houston, TX. I came all the way to Maryland in order to find my loving forever home with an awesome person or family.
I am spayed, micro-chipped, up to date with all shots, I am a medium size dog and weigh around 30 lbs. I am house-trained and crate-trained.
I am an active dog and would love to come jog along with you, or go for long walks and hikes, but also love chasing other dogs in a fenced back-yard or fetching some toys. But what makes me real happy is to cuddle up with you on the couch and snuggle. I like other dogs and don't bother cats. I like kids too as long as they don't pull on my long ears or tail, but if they throw some balls for me to fetch, I will shower them with kisses. My foster mom says I am real good kisser and such a happy girl. She calls me Dumbo sometimes because my ears are so big I can hear what's going on in the State next to us. Haha, I just like to hear what's happening and will use my antennas to find out so I can alert you.
I am a real funny girl and will keep you entertained, and in good shape, just what your Doctor ordered.
Will you take me home so I can have my first Christmas in my very own loving home????
