Gary (aka Shorty)'s Story...

Gary (aka Shorty) had a tough start in life, but you wouldn't ever know it from his personality! Gary is a happy go lucky little guy. He is friendly to everyone he meets (people and other dogs) although we think he would probably chase a cat if he had a chance. Gary loves taking walks in the neighborhood with his buddy Maya and walks well on a leash. Gary also loves taking car rides and is fully house-trained.. Gary is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gary (aka Shorty), a Fort Lauderdale Pit Bull Terrier/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Dachshund for sale in Fort Lauderdale, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Fort Lauderdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Lauderdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Lauderdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Dachshund breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Lauderdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
