Moe's Story...
DOB 8.1.16

Moe was found with his 2 brothers after being thrown away like trash in a dump site inside a box at just 1 week old. Mama no where to be found. He and his brothers were so tiny, their eyes still closed. They had to be bottle fed every 2 hours for about a month. If we had not found them when we did they would have died within a day or 2 without mama to feed them.

He is a sweet boy, is full of energy and loves to play and cuddle. He is litter trained, crate trained, good with other cats, dogs and children.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moe, a Houston American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Houston, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
