Ming's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Ming's Story...
Ming is a beautiful tabby with a heart of gold. This faithful fluffball will follow you wherever you go. Ming loves to sit on your lap and knead your legs as she gazes into your eyes with love and admiration. She also loves to perch on top your shoulders. Don’t let her submissive personality fool you, however. Ming is quite the hunter and can catch any mice that cross her path. This sweet girl loves people but also seems to do well with most dogs. Ming has tested positive for both FeLV and FIV. She came to Acadiana Animal Aid on 9-19-16.

The first step to adopting any feline is to fill out an application at http://acadianaanimalaid.org/adopt/cat-adoption/application/

All of ours cats have been Feline leukemia and feline aids tested negative, spayed or neutered, vaccinated with FVRCP and FELV, rabies vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. This cat has an adoption fee that has been waived because it is over 3 years old.

**Please note that some of our older cats have special needs and medical conditions that will be discussed once an application has been filled out.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ming, a Carencro Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Carencro, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Carencro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carencro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carencro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carencro paves the way for another one to be saved.
