Bob Marley originally came to us in March of 2015 after roaming Bargersville alone for at least two winters. Many people knew of him and tried to help, but nobody could catch him. He mostly traveled at night, but was once seen dragging roadkill from the highway to try to scrape together a meal. Bob Marley was eventually humanely trapped and got his name from the long matted 'dreadlocks' that left trails in the snow. After a haircut, routine vet work, and some TLC, Bob was adopted in May of 2015 to what we hoped would be his forever home. Unfortunately, he demonstrated some resource guarding behavior and was guarding his new mom from the rest of the family. The family had a busy household and was unable to manage Bob's behavior. He was returned to us in August of 2016. Bob hasn't demonstrated these behaviors in his foster home, but is on medication for it. Bob would probably do best in a quiet, dog-saavy home with no children. He is a very stoic little man who loves lap time and long walks. He is sometimes leash reactive, but he gets excited when he sees his harness because he knows he's going somewhere! Bob weighs 15 lbs and is fully vetted. In addition to one pill daily, he does get eye medication to prevent dry eyes, as he did have a cherry eye when he was caught.
