Loops!'s Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Loops!'s Story...
Loops is the most cuddly feline you will ever meet! He was rescued off the mean streets of Williamsburg in April and boy is he grateful for a warm home and humans to nap with! He gives hugs, cuddles on command, enjoys belly/face rubs, and especially loves sleeping next to/on arms/shoulders/humans in general. He’s extremely sweet and even comes when you call him!
He’s FIV positive, but if you give him love, stability, and a healthy diet, he could be your healthy best friend for many years to come!
Not good with dogs--very good with people (probably great with kids, too)

He is 3 years old, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, positive for FIV (negative for FELV). Healthy and fun. Rescued from kill shelter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Loops!, a Brooklyn American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
