Violet's Story...
VIOLET AND ROSE

Introducing the twins, Violet (12 lbs) and Rose (14lbs), two sweet 2 year old terrier X sisters. They are very social butterflies, very loving, great with kids, other dogs, not sure about cats and they love lots of pets. These girls were an owner surrender, they came house trained, dog door trained, leash trained and know basic commands. They are a bonded pair and we are looking for a home that is willing to adopt both. They have been spayed and are up to date on shots.
They have been a pleasure to foster and we would love to find a family that can equally enjoy having these two fun loving girls in their home. Please make sure to include their names on your application. www.lapdogrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Violet, a Tijeras Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Tijeras, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Tijeras.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tijeras already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tijeras breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tijeras paves the way for another one to be saved.
