IDGSR welcomes Astoria into the safety of the rescue!!!
Astoria is a 10 month old female German Shepherd who was taken to a local shelter by the family who owned her because they did not want to get her vet care when she was sick. The shelter did take her to a vet and asked if IDGSR could help. Astoria is now with the rescue and is healthy. She is a sweetheart who is great with other dogs, kids and cats. Astoria is crate trained, well behaved and is just an easy dog who loves everyone. She enjoys being at the rescue but is ready to start a new chapter in her life with a family of her own to love.

Each dog's adoption fee varies depending on the age of the dog.
$300 for any dog 1 year and younger (PUPPY)
$250 for any dog 1-6 years (YOUNG & ADULT)
$200 for any dog 7 years (ADULT SENIOR)
All our adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, monthly preventative, and have been spayed or neutered.
Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
All dogs are fostered in TN unless stated otherwise.
