I am housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Cleo is a wonderful little puppy that came to us from South Korea. We really don't know her breeds, but she is tall like an American Eskimo and about the size of one, but looks like a mini shepherd. She's so adorable. Cleo is 4 months old approximately and has had her vaccinations and is microchipped. She isn't old enough yet to be spayed, so she will be adopted under a contract that her new owners must have her spayed prior to her being 6 months of age. Cleo was very shy and scared when she came to Canada. Having escaped the meat industry in South Korea, she was in a cage until our friends were able to save her and send her to us. Therefore, she is still learning that people are loving and kind. She is wonderful to cuddle with once she settles and foster mom says she's learning how to cuddle She also loves a good belly rub! We are looking for a loving home for Cleo with another dog that she can play with and follow. We would also like a fully fenced yard, as Cleo is still frightened by leashes. A lot of the dogs from South Korea are very frightened by ropes and leashes due to the abuse they suffered, so until she is more comfortable, we think a yard would be best. Cleo's adoption fee is $400 with a $50 refund which will be returned once proof of spay has been supplied. If you feel you are the right home for Cleo, please email us for an application at firstname.lastname@example.org or you can find our application on our website at www.angelarmsrescue.com All of our pets are in loving foster homes, we are not a shelter, so an approved application must be on hand to meet Cleo.
Angel Arms Rescue is a non profit, volunteer based rescue. All of our animals are in foster homes, we do not have a shelter that house our animals. We rely on our committed and loving foster homes to let us know what type of forever home our animals would be best adopted out too (cat/dog friendly, kid friendly, etc).
Currently we accept dogs and cats into our rescue and they arrive from high kill shelters (in and out of province), owner surrenders, animal controls and other shelters.
Our animals are all spayed/neutered and brought up to date on vaccinations. They receive other necessary vetting (dental, hernia repair, skin conditions, etc) as required. We rely solely on monetary donations to help cover the costs of vetting as our adoption fees do not fully recover the vetting requirements of our animals.
Please always consider adoption, we promise the animal you welcome into your home from a rescue will spend their entire life thanking you.
Our Adoption Process...
If you're interested in adoption, there is an adoption application to be completed to ensure it's a great match on both sides (for either cat or dog). The next step is that all (or as many as possible, but all other dogs must be present) attend a meet and greet with the dog you are applying for to ensure everyone falls in love. A non invasive home check is completed and if all needs are met for your family and the dog/cat the adoption can be finalized.
