Meet Cleo, a one to two year old Border Collie Lab! Being such a clever pup, Cleo likes to keep busy, so she's been working as our temporary office manager until she's adopted. Other than filing papers in alphabetical order (she's a Border Collie, she can read thank you very much) her skills include official jogging partner, pro cuddle buddy, Tug of War champion, cookie connoisseur, and fetcher! Cleo loves to fetch and could play fetch for hours! Cleo is also learning to play Frisbee and is quite good at it! Cleo is looking for a devoted human to provide belly rubs and butt scratches, but most of all, Cleo is looking for a furever home! She loves to smile, and has been smiling since she's been rescued! She's been waiting a while to be adopted, and is crossing her paws she'll have a home for the holidays! We hope so too, she keeps reorganizing our paperwork.

PLEASE NOTE: Cleo is being fostered in Memphis, TN. Tennessee has a large number of dogs in need of homes, and adopts to Northeast furever homes! If you are interested in adopting Cleo, her adoption donation covers transportation if needed, all vaccinations up to date, spay surgery, microchip, rabies vaccination and certificate, health certificate for travel, and of course, a lifetime of love and cuddles! About One Good Deed - CT Chapter

About Our Rescue Group...

One Good Deed Tn, Inc was started in April, 2013 by the Naquin family, who had been very active with volunteer activities and animal advocacy for many years. Many shelters and even humane societies claim to be "no kill," but we learned that the “no kill” provisions often had loop holes to allow for regular euthanasias. After losing a healthy, treasured foster dog to euthanasia, despite attempts by several people to adopt her and rescue groups attempts to pull her, we made the decision to start our own organization and make a difference "one good deed" at a time. We needed to do something good to honor our foster dog and decided on that day to start our own organization that would truly be for the good of the animals. One Good Deed Tn, Inc. will not put any animal to sleep for any reason other than as a last resort, on the advice of a veterinarian, for those pets whose suffering can not be cured and who by not humanely euthanizing would prolong its suffering.

We pull animals from all shelters, accept strays, work with other rescues who are too full, and provide medical services and foster care for all breeds of dogs until they are adopted into loving homes that are just right for their needs! We are also proud to assist other non-profit organizations with fostering, transport, and financial assistance for emergencies for both groups and individuals as our resources allow. One Good Deed Tn, Inc. believes that we can make a difference one good deed at a time!
