Plenty of my friends are looking

Poncho's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Poncho's Story...
Poncho is about 7 months old and enjoys other dogs. He weighs 40 pounds and we expect him to be around 50 pounds when full grown. Poncho's mom is a 40-pound brindle colored dog with a black tongue. We are not positive of her breed, she basically looks like a black lab with a brindle coat. From Poncho's markings, we believe his dad must have been a very handsome shepherd. He would love to find a home where he can be just one of the family. He does enjoy being around people and children and when a storm is moving through, he would really like to have someone to cuddle with! Poncho has been full vetted (neutered, heartworm tested, wormed, rabies shot and yearly vaccinations). He is also on heartworm preventative and flea and tick preventative.
He is also great with cats and other dogs.

Poncho is hw (heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped.
All our rescue animals come with 1 month free health insurance.

Please fill out an application on our website at www.packleadersrescue.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Poncho, a East Hartford Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever for sale in East Hartford, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in East Hartford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in East Hartford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a East Hartford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in East Hartford paves the way for another one to be saved.
