Maury's Story...

A large oaf that meanders around with a giddy bounce, yea that would be the best way to describe Maury. He is hilarious in so many ways, a pure pleasure to be around. he is extremely playful and yet knows when he needs to be serious and concentrate. Maury loves to walk around and smell all the world has to offer he also enjoys spending time with the humans that love him. Maury needs to be in an active family that will either exercise him regularly or hire a dog walker or find a local daycare to keep him busy. Although he has a lot of energy he does burn out quickly and once he is worn out he sleeps heavily. Call if interested.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maury, a Island Lake Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees for sale in Island Lake, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Island Lake.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Island Lake already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Island Lake breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Island Lake paves the way for another one to be saved.
