My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Reggie is an eight-year old cocker spaniel mix and the 'perfect' dog. He is 22#, great with dogs and cats, house trained, leash trained, crate/kennel trained and well mannered. Reggie feels a lot like his world has just been turned upside down. He dad died, his mum went to a home, and the kids didn't want an 'old' dog, so they gave him up. Small grandkids were also not so nice to him, but he never got aggressive. Out of respect, a house with older, mannered, responsible kids or no kids might be the best situation for this gentle soul. In his ideal new home, Reggie would be happy sitting on the couch watching TV with his person or people. He likes belly rubs, treats, and yes, when it's cold he likes sweaters and fluffy blankets. He loves car rides, dog beds, laying in the sun, playing with other little dogs and cuddling. He would love to share a cup of tea and biscuits. He has a happy, mellow temperament driven by little else than wanting to love people and be loved by them. He has a lot more love to give and more years to share. Reggie currently resides at our Idaho rescue. Adoption fee is $250.00. Transport may be available to approved adopters.
