Here's what the humans have to say about me:
General Puss Puss is a 8 year old long haired orange cat. Puss Puss is a very affectionate cat, he just loves to have his face rubbed. When two people pet him, he tries to rub them both at the same time. He appreciates people that much.
Don't worry about his fur. Puss Puss was found as a stray and he had an injury to his paw. Our wonderful staff cleaned up his paw and he is in great shape now. His fur just needs to grow back in. Puss Puss is looking for his forever home, could that be with you? Come meet him today and see.
As a senior kitty, General Puss Puss is part of the senior-to-senior program. Adoption fees will be waived for an adopter 65 years of age or older.
The application/screening process for potential adopters usually takes about 24 hours except when it falls over a weekend or holiday, and then it may take two or three days. We ask that potential adopters please be patient with us; we are only trying our best to ensure that the homeless pets in our care get the best possible home. All cats and dogs adopted from our shelter are spayed or neutered (as Texas law mandates).
Our adoption fee is currently $70 for non-residents and $75 for residents*.
The adoption fee includes:
spaying/neutering
vaccinations (appropriate to species and age)
heartworm or feline leukemia test (appropriate to species and age)
de-worming medication
microchip (a tiny ID tag inserted under the skin, which allows your pet to be returned to you quickly)
There is a $5 Pet License fee added to the adoption fee if the adopter lives inside the City Limits of Georgetown.
