Meet Rufus! Rufus is a striking, brindle-colored Hound Mix! This handsome gentleman is in search of his forever home. Rufus is a gentle boy, with lots of love to give. He will snuggle up beside you to receive love and attention. His confidence and personality blossoms when he is around another canine companion! He is playful and energetic and will frequently offer the sit command - even without being asked! He is a brilliant boy who is practicing the sit, down, wait, watch me, and touch commands. In his previous home, Rufus lived peacefully with a small Chihuahua, was house trained, AND crate trained. Come meet regal Rufus at the Humane Society of Pinellas! Update: Rufus is still looking for his home but is spending a few days in a foster home away from the shelter. An introduction can be arranged by calling or emailing the shelter.

Rufus is available to participate in our foster-to-adopt program! This means that HSP will provide any medical or training services and supplies free of charge during the foster engagement. Contact to learn more about this sweet pup today!
