Paddington's Story...
Paddington, neutered male, 1.5 years old.

No one can resist these adorable eyes! Paddington is one seriously happy dog. He could definitely be the life of the party anywhere he goes with you. He doesn't know a stranger and lets anyone pet him. He's got a typical beagle temper and would be excellent with a family of any size and any ages, we believe.

He has been adopted from us before, but the owner then had to move and was not able to keep him. We know someone else will fall in love with this petite beagle though and give him a great home!

Feel free to come meet Padddington, or any of our adoptable animals, anytime we are open, no appointment needed. You may contact us on Facebook, email us at pganimals@princegeorgecountyva.gov, or call us at 804-991-3200 if you have any further questions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paddington, a Prince George Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Prince George, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Prince George.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Prince George already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Prince George breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Prince George paves the way for another one to be saved.
