Sasha's Story...
Sasha Sasha Sasha. What big feet you have. Sasha is proud of her big kitty feet. Sasha is a 5 month old kitty girl who is soooooo happy in her loving foster home. But...Sasha wants a home of her own. Sasha wants to be the queen in the hearts of a family that she can spend the rest of her life with. Sasha believes that growing old with those you love and depend on is the very best of life. And having a lot of toys and treats and good stuff to eat...and maybe a silk pillow to snooze on..and a lap to lounge in...and a couch to dream on.... Sasha just wants all the best in life for herself and for the people who adopt her. Sasha started out on the streets. Sasha and her sisters and brother were all homeless and living in a hedge next to a busy roadway. Then they were rescued by a Cattitude Inc volunteer...and it's been all uphill since then. Sasha loves other cats and all people.

Want to meet Sasha Sasha? That's easy. Just send an email inquiry to njcattitude@gmail.com - one of our friendly volunteers will respond pretty darn quick. OR...you can meet Sasha in person at one of our Saturday adoption events in the Piscataway PetCo {1333 Centennial Avenue} between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Sasha is spayed - up to date on vaccinations - tested negative for fiv/felv.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Highland Park Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Highland Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Highland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Highland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Highland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Highland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
