I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Prissy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Prissy's Story...
Prissy is a 3 year old 6 pound female Shih Tzu. She is shown shaved down, but when her hair grows out, it will be long and silky. Prissy has lived as a breeder dog for most of her life and is shy. She will let you pick her up and hold her, and will sleep at your side in the bed every night. She appreciates a good snuggle, too.

Prissy appears to be housebroken and knows how to use a doggie door. She is not yappy or hyper, but has some spunk! Prissy needs a home with a loving and experienced owner to draw Prissy out of her old life and into her new life.

Prissy has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Her adoption fee is $250.00.

If you are interested in adopting this cutie, please write us at and ask for an application to adopt. We are a foster-home based organization, and the adoption process starts when you submit your application. Once that has been approved, we can schedule a time for you to meet Prissy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Prissy, a Atlanta Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
