Half Stash's Story...
Hey! What happened to the other half of that boy's black mustache? That's why he's named Half Stash. Half Stash is an 11 week old black/white boy kitty. Half Stash has 7 brothers and sisters. Half Stash and siblings are very lucky because their pregnant mom was homeless until a nice Cattitude Inc volunteer took her in. Pretty quick she had 8 babies. Half Stash is one of her favorites. {Ssssh don't tell the other kittens}. For some reason his mom loves Half Stash just a little more than the other kittens. Half Stash says that he's just sweeter and happier and more cuddly than his brothers and sisters. Well...that's something you will have to find out for yourself. But Half Stash is a barrel of love and laughs.

Want to meet this black/white beauty? That's easy. Just send an email inquiry to njcattitude@gmail.com - one of our friendly volunteers will respond pretty darn quick. OR...you can meet Half Stash in person at one of our Saturday adoption events in the Piscataway PetCo {1333 Centennial Avenue} between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Half Stash is neutered - up to date on distemper vaccination - tested negative for fiv/felv.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Half Stash, a Highland Park Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Highland Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Highland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Highland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Highland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Highland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
