Junebug's Story...
Name: Junebug
Breed: Walker Hound
Age: Adult
Gender: Female

Junebug is an adult female Walker Hound who is 45-pounds of goofball... she loves to make you laugh, and has a very cheerful and happy personality. Her ideal home has a fenced yard to safely contain her hunting instincts, and no cats/small pets although she is just fine with the tiny dog at her foster home (not the cat). She's house trained, crate trained, responds well to verbal commands and loves to run and play. Being a Hound, she adores adventure and relies on her person to keep her safe. Junebug is great with kids. She's the perfect dog for a Hound lover!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Junebug, a Minneapolis Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
