Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Amore is a handsome 8 month old boy. He's just starting life and he wishes for a loving family to adopt him. Amore wandered a little too far from home and couldn't find his way back. He came to the shelter on Oct. 4th and if not reclaimed by an owner by Oct. 11th he will be available for adoption. If he was a house cat and slipped out an open door, we hope his owner will find him. They should know to look at the shelter as Georgia state law requires all found animals to go to the shelter (or at least notify the shelter that the animal has been found), to give the owner a chance to find. If an owner was keeping Amore outside, well he is much too young to be outside on his own and besides it is against the County ordinance to keep animals outside unleashed or unfenced. Amore is up to date with shots and will be neutered, micro-chipped, and combo-tested upon adoption. Amore is in cage 681 and his ID is 589416.
When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers. This beautiful pet and many others need a forever, loving home and are available for adoption from the Cobb County Animal Shelter, 1060 Al Bishop Drive Marietta, Georgia 30008, call (770) 499-4136 for more information. Our Shelter hours for Adoptions are: Tuesday - Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sundays 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., CLOSED Mondays and Holidays.
