My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Caleb and I'm about 3 years old. I was an outdoor dog before being rescued by CSRA/SA. Now I am house trained, crate trained, and I am working on my on leash manners and making strides - if you will forgive the pun. My foster mama said I had lots of opportunities for growth! I THINK that's a compliment?

Some folks I like immediately - some I need to warm up to - so my foster mom and trainer recommend an experienced, adult-only home for me. Ideally with someone who is home much of the time and can help me continue my training program and practice all the great skills I've learned since coming to CSRA/SA.

My social skills with other dogs have really improved now that I'm living with two foster brothers and learning to share, but honestly, I'd be even happier as the only dog so all the toys and treats and attention will be all MINE!

Oh, and by the way...I'm told I have a Longhorn on the top of my head and, ummmm, under my tail. I'm not vain and don't look in the mirror much but, I look good coming and going and I'm ready to hook you on me.
