Chestnut's Story...
Are you looking for a fun-loving, energetic, loving puppy for your active family? Chestnut may be the one for you. He arrived in NJ on October 7th and immediately made himself right at home. He is super friendly and affectionate and has lots of playful puppy energy. He weighs almost 14 pounds at 4 months old, he is tall and lean and we think he may grow to the 40 pound range. So very handsome, so very sweet. Chessy would make a great addition to an active household! If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting this wonderful boy, please email us at islandpups@msn.com for an adoption application today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chestnut, a Middlesex Jack Russell Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Middlesex, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier puppy from a breeder in Middlesex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Middlesex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Middlesex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Middlesex paves the way for another one to be saved.
