MILES's Story...
Miles is a cute and sweet 2 year old, 17 pound boy. He has the typical energy level of this breed. Miles got lost from home and came to the shelter on Oct. 1st. Dogs as sweet and small as Miles should always be supervised and on a leash when they're outside to keep them from harm, or wandering away and getting lost. Miles is up to date with shots, already neutered, and heartworm negative. It will just take a minute to micro-chip him upon adoption and then his new adopter will be taking him home! Miles is in Cage T-6 and his ID is 589354.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MILES, a Marietta Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
