Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Attention! SAM & MATTIE Here!
We are a bonded pair, purebred Labradors, approximately 11mos old. My brother Sam is a black male and me, Mattie a chocolate female. We are available as a bonded pair. We are basically housebroken, still in require further obedience and potty training. We are good with other dogs and children. We do not know what cats are yet.
Since we are still puppies, we are high energy and require lots of exercise, so are best suited with a strong leader to give us positive but stern direction. We require a secure yard with tall fencing and gates to exercise in and drain our energy. We require an active family, Perfect candidates for a family/person who wants buddies for hiking, walking, jogging.
We are to be considered family, so we will not live outside, but primarily indoors. We are smart as the breed belongs, easily trainable - however when there is something in for us - like a treat - we never say no.
Our new parents should have breed experience. Enrolling us in a puppy kindergarten class is a great start or hiring a trainer, or our rescuers trainer who is very reasonable in cost. Also, Inviting visitors over regularly, and eventually taking us to busy parks, stores that allow dogs, and on leisurely strolls to meet neighbors will also help us polish up our social skills. PLEASE READ THE NOTES BELOW.
Yours with a happy tailwag!
